happy easter

Yesterday we took a drive down the coast to Rainbow Bay which is on the border between New South Wales and Queensland. The bay has some great beaches and around the corner is the Snapper Rocks which apparently is world famous for surfing. The only surfing I did was to have some surf ‘n turf… !
One odd yet expected result of being in Australia is the timezone difference with the UK. On the whole it is working out great, I wake up and catch the stragglers still around at 10pm (and later) then in the evenings the UK starts to wake up, quite good to get undisturbed work done in the afternoon.
The bad thing is that this means 3pm kicks offs for the football start at around midnight – we have Foxtel here (Auzzy Sky Plus) so can record games or can watch them live – however for all the league two action with the mighty Wrexham is a 2am finish and for any 5.15 kick offs then it is a total waste of time !

As you can see from the above, Wrexham are in a dire position. We are one goal away from being in the relegation zone and have six games left three home and three away with the final game of the season being Boston at home! I did joke a few weeks back that it would be the last time I saw league football at the Racecourse for a while… and I am thinking I could have been right.
