Yet again I fail to blog for a while, so resort to ‘here are some nice pictures’ going by the theory that they speak a thousand words. Thus this post may seem low on content, but it really is about 20,000 words long!

I ended up helping Wrex The Dragon

I am now living up in Edinburgh…

… which is close to St Andrews.

Bought another car, third one inside the year which is abit odd. This one even has the poncey plate (finally)!

Anyway, this is sunny Edinburgh around where we are living. Loving it…

…and they brew Deuchars IPA here so even better!

Hopefully an update before Feb 2009 – however whenever I do online stuff it seems to be work related. Fingers crossed the No1 project will be live and kicking fully in 2009 which ought to mean more fun blog stuff over there…!

Usual story, not alot of updating so a fair bit to blitz through since Feb so here is 3 months in pictures…

I was leaving Australia for a while so it made sense to sell ‘Jeremy’ the car. Due to exchange rates I even managed to make a profit…!

So goodbye to nice proper beaches for abit!

A few days later I was back to sunny UK weather:

Luckily we had a trip to Italy sorted so I ended up in a nice warm Rome:

From there we went down to the Amalfi coast area / Capri / Naples etc.

Whilst down there we visited Pompei, which had not changed since I had been last, nor the last 2000 years as far as I could tell.

The logical thing after that is to go up the closest active volcano, where I was snapped being a geek checking GPS on my phone to work out what I was looking at.

The weather picked up when we went down to Capri so here is the obligatory Brit-In-Med shot:

We took a ferry from Capri to Positano which took about an hour more than it ought to due to bad sea fog. If you take a photo in fog this is what it comes out like:

After abit more travelling about down the coast we went back to Rome, where Amy captured this cracking shot

and I had some tasty Thrush

On return to the UK the coldness was cemented with a roadtrip up to Edinburgh (where I will be based for abit) through the BRRRR highlands:

then back down to beautiful North Wales. Bish Bash Bosh thats the last couple of months

There have been a few more trips up to Edinburgh / London etc but I think thats enough procrastination for now…
